what is hard water?
Hard water is water that contains a high concentration of dissolved minerals, primarily calcium and magnesium. When hard water dries on glass, it leaves behind mineral deposits that create visible spots and stains which make it very difficult to clean.
Over time, hard water buildup can actually etch into the glass, making the damage more difficult — and more expensive — to correct. Regular cleaning alone will not remove these mineral deposits once they have bonded to the surface.
